A roaring sea, fluttering leaves of palm,
a pleasant breeze, its serene calm.

Lying on the sand, loving warmth I feel
with closed eyes, playing my memory reel.

The time we spent, cosy moments we shared,
that holding hands, at loving dreams we stared.

Life so vibrant, essence of love all around,
I loved you, indeed true love I had found.

Celebrating happiness, throwing away the woes,
Content was I ,with you always close.

Presence of soothe, abundance of care,
whilst feeling down, I knew you were there.

Drawn into the past, reliving those days,
Im dragged to the future, a harsh fact awaits.

I know you are gone, I do realise,
Im alone again, and tears rise.

The sky getting dark, sun taking leave,
I know you are dead, I refrain to believe.

Death came so quick, and you were tamed,
Why you?, me it could have claimed

Lying on your grave, embracing the sand,
Loneliness vanishes, since you are close at hand.
